Neurodivergent Development Centre in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur

Breakthru Enrichment Station is a neurodivergent development centre at Platinum Walk, Setapak: an educational enrichment and learning centre for autistic children and teens, children with ADHD and other special learning needs. Many families find us while looking for an autism centre in Kuala Lumpur. We have been walking with families since 2010. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you come. We start from where your child is today, and we will support the next small step.

Who we walk with

Children and teens who learn differently, including autistic children, children with ADHD or ADD, Down syndrome, dyslexia and dyscalculia, and language or coordination difficulties. If your child is finding regular school hard, come and talk to us.

What we are, and what we are not

We are an education and enrichment centre, and part of the Breakthru® family. We are not a clinic and we do not diagnose. We are not a government or Ministry school. Where a child needs occupational therapy, physiotherapy or speech therapy, appointed therapists can be called in so your child’s support stays consistent.

We start with a full-picture assessment

Every child begins with an assessment at our centre that looks at primitive reflexes, Erikson’s psychosocial stages, developmental gaps and a Brain Gym® OBO check. It is an educational assessment that helps us set goals together with you. It is not a medical diagnosis. Book an assessment →

Parents are part of the team

We train parents, not just update them. Every month we meet you for Parent Coaching (PCM): the goals your child reached, what we noticed and what to try next at home. You can follow goals, attendance and PCM notes in the Breakthru Parents Hub. Parent courses such as Brain Gym for Special Needs (BG170), 3P.L.A.Y. to Breakthrough and RMT for School Readiness are run by Breakthru Academy.

Learning beyond the classroom

Fortnightly outings to learn and play in nature, plus BEST Cafe, Family Celebration, Telematch Day, Story Telling Day, and Talent Time & Awards Day, where every child’s progress is celebrated.

Questions parents ask

Is Breakthru a school? We are an enrichment and learning centre, not a government school. Some children attend school and join us in the afternoon (B.A.S.E.). Others join our day programmes. Sessions follow the government school holidays.

Do you diagnose autism or ADHD? No. Our assessment is educational and helps us set goals with you. For a medical diagnosis, please see a doctor or a clinical professional.

What languages do you use? English and 中文.
