Breakthru Development Philosophy seeks to bridge developmental gaps and to create conducive environments for good practices to generate better learning and self-discovery.
Breakthru welcomes children and teenagers with special needs and sees them as individuals who have the potential to do better but need guidance and a nurturing environment to explore and be motivated to reach their best selves.
Throughout the Breakthru development pathway, children and teenagers learn through 3 P.L.A.Y. Approach using Educational Kinesiology, Movement Based Learning (MBL) and Rhythmic Movement Training (RMTi) activities for consistent integration throughout the day. The children and teenagers will participate in the daily experiential learning activities where they will be given a lot of opportunities to draw out and enhance their independence, confidence and interaction skills.
One of the most important goals of Breakthru is to provide support that will be a stabilizing influence on the emotional self in order to develop confidence of the true self.
Independence – Confidence – Interaction
Ultimately, it is our desire to ensure that all children or teenagers who arrive at Breakthru, will be given our best attention and intention for them to complete the necessary age-appropriate developmental stages and to draw out their innate intelligence so that they will achieve optimum level of independence, confidence and ability to interact with the world.
